How to Prepare My Child For Preschool or Kindergarden

Ease Your Child To Feel Comfortable With Preschool

Shop TreeSchoolers

Sending your young child to preschool or kindergarden can be exciting and frigtening experience at the same time!

It is exciting letting your child interact with other children as well as seeing them gain independence being without their parent. At the same time the "unknown" about sending a child to preschool can be stressful on a parent. How will my child adjust? Will they feel comfortable in a new environment? Will they feel comfortable with the teacher and the rest of the children? These are all questions parents often ask.

Meet the TreeSchoolers

These wonderful new educational materials will prepare your child for preschool! They will educate while easing the transition from being at home to being in a new environment.

Who are the TreeSchoolers? They are preschoolers from new educational DVD but...they live on a tree! They love to educate through songs! They experience and teach all the nesesary skills young children need to know. However, they have a cool surrounding - their school is on top of a tree. By making friends with them your child will be learning the basic emotions and skills they need in preschool. And the extra added benefit is that they will be learning through music!

This is a very new material. You can now get only the first episode, A Rainy Day. The next two episodes are in the making.

This is an absolute wonderful music and educational material. I strongly recommend it to parents with young children. The materials are great for a child right before they enter preschool, but they are also great to use as the child is already attending preschool.

When your child gets to know the TreeScholers, they will be familiarizing themselves with new concepts such as telling time and weather changes. Their emotional intelligence will be developed by learning how to introduce themselves and help others in class. They will also be learning the most important aspects of learning itself-being comfortable with asking questions, reading, and having fun while looking for the answers.

Plan confidence and instill familiarity with preschool or kindergarden through music!!!

Learning through music is very successful when working with young children! The rhythm, rhymes, and repetition of a song help with language development, memory and retaining information.

TreeSchoolers Preschool Learning SystemMusic provides repetition. Children learn through repetition. When positive messages are repeated, then they become a part of us! Then music becomes a vehicle of teaching children indirectly!

It is difficult to say if the music helps the learning in this materials or if learning happens from singing and listening. It is all an integral part of the learning process in these DVDs.

Familiarity will ease the anxiety!

Learning about preschool before your child is there will develop familiarity with the new environment. It will create excitement of going to a new place instead of enxiety.

One of the episodes in the DVDs teaches kids that "thunder is less scary when we know about it." This is also the concept of this post. Knowing about preschool, learning about the transition from preschool to kindergarden makes the process less scary.

As parents of younger children tend to have more questions about their children at school, and I am working with quite a few children at the preschool age at the moment, I will be doing a few other posts about preparing your child to preschool. Please wait from them!

Tina,

Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, the reason I wanted to write about the TreeSchoolers is that when I saw the materials I WAS THE ONE feeling like a kid and wanting to dance and sing along! I think they are very neat. I was hoping to let more parents know about them!

Tank you for stopping by!

My children love music and dancing. It definitely helps in learning new concept! The DVD looks very fun, I'll have to check them out. We home school, but I'm sure my preschoolers could benefit from the great video.

I consider you’ve created some genuinely exciting points. Not too most people would in reality consider about this the way you simply did. I’m really impressed that there’s a lot about this topic that’s been uncovered and you also did it so tremendously, with a lot class.
