Today I want to offer ready Suzuki violin group lesson plans. Use them in February.
February is a difficult month. Many of us feel very tired and stressed out right around now.
I have found out that when I am stressed or tired it is more difficult for me to come up with creative and fun ideas for my group classes.
So let me remove some of the stress!
No more spending time before your next Suzuki violin group class! Simply print out and go!
I know that this is a very busy time for me especially with teaching Suzuki and a public school orchestra program. So if I could have things already prepared for me so I can take one less step in preparation for my Suzuki violin group classes, I am happy.
Disclosure: the post offers materials ready as products to purchase. I have been creating these ready lesson plans as a result of my work as a coordinator of the University of New Mexico Suzuki prep school and writing this blog. Every lesson described has a link to Teachers Pay Teachers site where you can get the ready developed lesson plan with materials ready to prnt. Upon purchasing you would be supporting the site. Hope they are helpful.
Suzuki Violin Group Class Lesson Plan for Teaching Key Signatures
This is a very detailed lesson for teaching early key signatures. If you have started note reading with any of your classes, these Suzuki group class idea will be a great addition to your teaching. The lesson provides fun ideas of practicing and learning the key signatures in a different way. Materials included. The lesson plan provides a detailed script of what the teacher might introduce the key signatures so the kids understand it and it is easy for them to remember and practice. The students would need to know how to play one octave A D and G Major scales prior to teaching this lesson plan.
Suzuki Violin Group Class Lesson Plan for Valentine’s Day Review
Here is a fun idea you will enjoy!
This is a fun activity that you can use either for a portion of your class or the whole class. All materials are created with Valentine’s theme. Students get to hide the review cards, then ask the parents’ help to find them, and finally play the piece that is on their card. The lesson can provide a fun activity on Valentine’s Day and a different way to lead your group class. It can also be a good activity if you have a very mixed class or you feel the need foe more review of pieces. It is fantastic to do with early Book 2 students who are not going back and doing their review of Book 1 songs.
Materials and ready lesson plan can be found below.
If you like the idea but would like to use that lesson plan at a different time of the year, you can find it below:
