In this site we have lots of music articles for teenagers. In this one, find out about the different types of guitars, and of course which one is best for YOU whether you want to learn the guitar or impress a girl with it!
Which Type Of Guitar Is Best For You
Just about every guy in the world has wanted to learn how to play the guitar at some point in his life. Some people learn young, while some never learn at all. The beauty of the guitar is that it is never too late to learn how to play. Whether you want to impress the girls, catch a guy’s eyes, or just chase that childhood dream now that you are old enough to really appreciate it, learning to play is still on the cards. The question is, should you learn on an electric guitar or on an acoustic? It is possible to learn on either. Is one harder to learn and to play than the other?
The answer is yes… and no.
Which Should You Choose to Learn and Play
The Acoustic Guitar
1. Has thicker strings and will be harder on the
playing fingers
2. Has more depth of play, allowing you to play rhythm as well as riffs
3. A regular acoustic guitar is lighter, and requires no heavy amp to produce a great sound
4. Practicing on an acoustic guitar is not as noisy as on an electric guitar – this will probably not impact your neighbours as
well as the rest of the family who share your home.
jam. The most lucrative part of playing and learning to play a standard acoustic guitar however is the opposite of the sex attraction factor which comes with playing an electric guitar. On a scale of one to ten, ten being the most romantic or sexiest, the acoustic rates a solid 10 while the electric guitar rates a 3. (A 7 if it is a Les Paul Epiphone) Mate attractability differences between acoustic and electric guitars:
your song writing
acoustic… no strings attached
sweet melodies or head banging rock
still have money left over to pay for dinner and perhaps buy the girl or guy some flowers (or a Zippo)
Les Paul Epiphone:
drag a bulky amplifier with you wherever you went (and the girl who is with you might have to carry it for you over rough terrain so you could protect your expensive electric guitar)
anyone you try to impress on a date would have to pay for the food
On the other hand, if it is pure rock and roll that you are after, nothing beats a Les Paul… especially a Les Paul Epiphone. Let’s face it… if John Lennon , ZakkWylde, and Gary Clark Jr. all endorse the
Les Paul Epiphone electric guitar, who are we to argue? The trick is to learn both by purchasing both. You can practice the acoustic just about anywhere but when you are at home… rock it on out with the Epiphone. Who knows, you might just get a date with the guy or girl next door.

These are really nice for the price. I ordered two for myself and daughter for our first lessons. One was missing the tuner but over all I am happy with our purchase.
Thanks in advance
