This is a relatively new book. The name says it all. Sometimes you start with best intentions and then by the end of the day you realize that there was so much to do that you have left a bag of cookies on the counter. And that is all you have left. Don’t we all have these days?
If you have read plenty of books on parenting and you simply long for support and understanding as a parent – this is the book for you!
Parenting: Illustrated with Crappy Pictures by Amber Dusick
This book is a fantastic parenting resource written by a delightful author. I cannot recommend it enough.
The author of the book, Amber Dusick started a blog illustarting the funny moments that happen with her kids every day. All stories are done in a cartoon-like character. The blog was so popular that a book was born soon after. The author was open to give an interview for this blog with you can read in a more detailed post here.
Amber has already finished a second book, Marriage: Illustrated with Crappy Pictures. I haven’t read this second book yet and would not talk about it much. But if you happen to check it out, please leave a comment. I have a feeling I will be reading this parenting book this summer.
