Have a practice chart counting down the days to Valentine’s and focusing on a specific song or a technical skill. This is great for students who need to focus their practice time on something new. You can ready Valentine’s Suzuki violin practice chart here. It will look like the one on the image below.

Shuffle Suzuki Cards for Review

Having trouble wth reviewing old Suzuki pieces? How about making Suzuki review songs into a game? Have your child or a student shuffle different cards each practice and pick one or two that will become their review piece for the day. You may see them wanting to review more songs simply because of the violin game element! You can create your own cards or have these ready Valentine’s Day cards to use for that purpose.

We have a more detailed post about Suzuki violin games with treasure hunts and hiding a card around the house or even in the violin case. Read it here. You can use all the practice cards suggested above to incorporate the ideas of treasure hunts! Fun!
